How to Remove Pet Stains with P.U.R.T.®
- We will perform an inspection to make sure we know the full extent of the urine damage.
- In order to start removing the smells, we’ll apply a special odor-blocking shellac (if it is necessary).**
- The P.U.R.T.® solutions are then applied at this point to your tack strip, sub floor, baseboards, and carpet backing. It is necessary to apply this product heavily enough to dampen all areas affected by the urine.**
- From there, P.U.R.T.® will spend the next 24-36 hours reacting with the urine, and breaking down the odour-causing components.
**Additional charges based on your unique situation will apply for services.
P.U.R.T. Is Simply Better
You might be wondering what actually makes P.U.R.T.® different. P.U.R.T.® is designed to attack odorous urine crystals directly. Other pet urine stain removal crews here in Calgary typically use products and solutions designed to mask the stain and odor for a short time. But those stains will almost always reappear. With P.U.R.T.®, you can rest a little easier knowing the Chem-Dry tech is doing everything in their power to actually remove the stain for good. Although we can’t perfectly guarantee our stain removal service, we do know that an independent lab found that P.U.R.T.® can remove pet urine odors. Those results speak for themselves. For a superior way to remove pet urine stains and odors in the Calgary area, give our team a call.
Customer Reviews for Our Calgary Pet Urine Removal Service
“Carpets look fantastic, pet urine and general stains are gone. Best cleaning I’ve had – will definitely use again and highly recommend. Hugo and team were responsive, on time, very polite and professional. Drying time was a bit longer than 1-2 hrs, but was faster than other cleanings.”
“Huge thank you to Chinook Chem-dry & Hugo! He was able to help me out to remove pet urine! Hugo definitely went above and beyond.”
“Mike did the work on our rugs and couches. He spent quite a long time working on it, and it shows. The room now smells nice and fresh.
Our dog also hopped on the couch before the drying process was done, and left some nice dirty dog prints on the fabric. I called the next morning and Hugo (the owner) came within the hour to fix up. Thanks!”

Frequently Asked Quetsions
Is pet urine really all that bad?
If you can live with the smell and stain, or in other words, if you don’t notice them anymore, then you might not think it’s really a big deal. But when you think about it a little deeper, it’s clear that it’s a bigger issue. Urine is waste, and it’s not a very healthy thing to have just sitting in your home. You really might not know how often you step in it and spread nasty things around your house. It can also encourage pets to have more accidents in the house. All in all, it’s bad to have pet urine sitting in your home, and a skilled Calgary pet urine removal service like Chinook Chem-Dry can help you get rid of it.
